My Top 5 Men's Hairstyles for Fall 2012

#5 Tight Sides With A Longer Top
This is a haircut that I see often. It is cut aggressively close on the sides and back and left significantly longer on the top. With this style, the top is worn up and back and there can be somewhat of a disconnect between the short sides and the longer top. It is a quick and easy style for a man who doesn't like the fuss of doing his hair in the morning, but wants to still look stylish.
For a textured, matte look, I recommend Bumble & Bumble Sumotech

#4 Shag Haircut
Great for Fall or Winter, this is the ultimate "just rolled out of bed" look. The additional length of the hair adds a bit of warmth, while the carefree tousled style looks great even after being blown around a bit. For this style, I would use a shear-point technique to give a bit of added texture. A blow-dryer can be used to give the hair a bit of volume.
For a frizz-free look, I recommend Arrojo Hair Creme when blow drying
And the, already-famous, Arrojo ReFinish Dry Shampoo for some extra body and texture

#3 Slicked Back Undercut
Great for straight hair or hair that can be straightened. With the prevalence of shows like Boardwalk Empire comes the revival of the slicked back undercut. Influenced by the styles of the early 20th Century. When styling, you can part the hair and brush very neatly with an application of a high-shine pomade or the hair can be styled more casually by simply running the fingers through the hair for aggressive separation.
I like to use a cocktail of Arrojo Hair Creme and Arrojo Texture Paste

#2 The Men's Quiff
Great for straight, curly or wavy hair! The last time we saw the quiff popular as a men’s hairstyle trend it was infused with rock overtones. With the indie haircut dominating the music-orientated hairstyles, the quiff becomes something altogether more refined in 2012. It’s still infused with attitude, but, as far as men’s haircut trends this year, it’s a very different attitude. When styling, blast a blow dryer on high and use your fingers to work the hair upwards while drying. Pull the hair forward and then bend it back so you get the quiff shape, and ensure you don’t miss the roots while drying. The main trick is to keep working your fingers through the roots; this will create an insane amount of movement from within.
I love TIGI Matte Separation Workable Wax to create great form
And TIGI Power Surge Strong Hold Hairspray for extra hold

#1 The Classic Side-Part
Thanks to AMC Television's Mad Men, this retro-style hairdo has had a comeback, and I love it! This haircut is unlike the unkempt bed head styles that have been popular over the past few years. This style shows you care about looking great and you're ready for business. The hair is parted and combed back and to the side (a blow-dryer may be used to give height in the front if needed). A versatile style, this haircut may also be worn more casually for a less-formal look.
Use a high-shine pomade such as Hanz de Fuko Modify Pomade for a sleek look
