I'm sorry I've been so neglectful of you! I could blame in on Sandy, but that would be a lie. If anything, Sandy should have made me start blogging again. A week with nothing to do? Come on! But thankfully, I live in deep Bushwick and was one of the few lucky ones to not lose power or receive any damage. My heart goes out to those effectedby this storm! Anyways, I've got my second wind back and I'm full of new blog ideas and ready to give it another go! If you're willing to take me? You are?! Yes! Werrrrrk hunty!
American Horror Story: Asylum premieres in less than two weeks and today on their Facebook Page they released two new promos to give us a better look into the Asylum. One promo is 30 seconds long while the other a full minute! Evan Peters is playing crazy again, but I'm okay with that. He's a sexy kind of crazy in my head. And Adam Levine is just plain sexy. Check out the two promos below and catch American Horror Story: Asylum October 17th only on FX! 30 Second Promo:
I liked Marina And The Diamonds two years ago when her debut album, The Family Jewels was released. When Electra Heart came out this year, I fell in love with her. I had the pleasure of seeing her live last month and she is an amazing performer. From the catchy and deep lyrics, to the electropop beats at their best. Her US bonus track 'How To Be A Heartbreaker' is her official second US single and she released the music video last week on September 28th on her YouTube Channel. Full of hot guys in swimming trunks with tattoos all showering together. I like. Check it out below and learn how to be a heartbreaker like Marina.
I was reading Buzfeed.com this morning and came across this article and had to share!
"In case you missed it, there's a video of Nicki Minaj cursing out
Mariah Carey on the set of American Idol. Basically, Nicki Minaj needs
to realize who she's talking to! Nobody can talk to Mariah Carey like
that! Here's why:"

Fall is here. Temperatures dropping along with the leaves on the trees. Which means it's time to change out your closet from Spring/Summer to Fall/Winter and here are 5 essential items men should have in their wardrobe this season:
1. Fair Isle sweater
More than any other piece this season, the right Fair Isle sweater will
show everyone that you know what you’re doing with your fall wardrobe.
Fair Isle sweaters are woven with rows of alternating patterns, so pick
one with a design that stands out to you, but make sure to keep the fit
snug. While your sweater shouldn’t act as a second skin, you don’t want
it fitting too baggy either.
2. Denim shirt
The denim shirt has been around for a while, and if I had to bet on it,
I’d say it’s probably going to be around for a whole lot longer. From
the cowboys of the Old West to everyone’s favorite “Rebel Without a
Cause,” the denim shirt has kept men looking cool and now it’s back as
an easy fall layer. Just like James Dean wore it in the ‘50s,
don’t feel like you have to follow any rules with your denim. Wear the
shirt layered underneath a sweater, with a patterned tie and tucked into
chinos or even pair it with a dark pair of jeans when the weather’s not
too cool.
3. Long-sleeved T-shirt
Utilizing long-sleeved T-shirts is the easiest way to layer in the
fall. Wear them underneath your jacket while heading to class in the
morning then alone with the sleeves rolled up when the afternoon sun
starts to raise the temperature. Buy them in solid colors and they’ll go
with anything, but throw in some variety with a Henley or a
screen-printed crewneck.
4. Cargo pants
Not only are cargo pants making a comeback this fall, they’re on their
way to becoming the new staple for every man’s wardrobe. But don’t go
pulling out your old cargos from ‘95. This season is bringing in a new
and improved version of the old classic.
The main difference between this fall’s cargos and the ones you wore in
junior high is the fit. Find them slim-fitted and with pockets that
aren’t too big. Your 2012 cargos shouldn’t leave you looking bulky. Go
with a classic khaki or try them with a camouflage pattern or in a wool
flannel.
5. Desert boots
Desert boots have been steadily growing in popularity in the past year,
and they’re your best option for transitioning from the summer heat to
the coming winter ice. The best thing about this shoe is that you can
wear them with almost anything. Dress them up with a navy suit or wear
them casually with a pair of jeans rolled up around the ankles.
I love Fall. Not only for the crisp air, warm baked goods, and fall fashion, but also for the television. My DVR is on overload right now with all the great shows this season. A couple have already begun: FOX's New Girl, Glee and The X Factor. NBC's The Voice, The New Normal (which is one of my new favorite shows) and Up All Night. CBS's How I Met Your Mother and 2 Broke Girls.
But tonight is a good night! ABC is bringing back Revenge on it's new night followed by their brand new scandalous supernatural soap opera 666 Park Avenue starring my girl Vanessa Williams. Looks great, check out this trailer for the premiere:
Tonight Dexter also returns on Showtime! Season 6 ended with Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) walking in on Dexter (Michael C. Hall) in the middle of a killing. Here's the trailer for the Season 7 premiere:
I'm geeking out. October 8th Gossip Girl premieres for it's 6th and final season, October 11th The Vampire Diaries returns for Season 4 and on October 23rd Pretty Little Liars comes back for the second half of season 3. Who needs a relationship when you have good TV? Am I just lonely? Maybe. But it's still good TV.
